Bobby is surprised onstage by Wildwood City officials who presented him
with a plaque to be mounted at the historic site of The Surf Club The plaque reads
WILDWOOD DAYS
On this corner stood Phil and Eddie's Surf Club where Bobby Rydell (born Robert Ridarelli) performed each summer in the late 1950's and early
DOO WOP PRESERVATION LEAGUE
In addition, Bobby also received a touching tribute plaque making him an
official son of Wildwood from the Greater Chamber of Commerce.
Confetti fell
from the Wildwood Convention Center's 7500 seat sold out
event as Bobby closed the show with WILDWOOD DAYS to a throng of back up singers in the audience
Also at this fabulous event were Little Anthony & The Imperials The Cadillacs The Coasters The Chantells and Charlie Gracie.
The Golden Boys.....take the Cypress Gardens in Florida by storm
