BOBBY RYDELL - "A True American Music Treasure"
Philadelphia native Bobby Rydell couldn't ask for a better venue than Atlantic City to host his rocking, 1950's style performances. One look at his shows in the resort will show that Rydell hasn't lost one bit of the energy that's wowed audiences for five decades.
With million-selling singles as "Volare," "We Got Love," and "Wild One," Rydell stakes a claim to being a true American music treasure.
His love of performing began as a child, when he would practice impersonations of his favorite television stars. Before long, he was one of rock music's top idols, making girls swoon and winning the guys' respect as he stood proudly in rock's pantheon next to greats like Elvis Presley & Jerry Lee Lewis.
Rydell's performances haven't been limited to pop music. His career has led him to starring roles in films such as "Bye Bye Birdie" and to a stage performance in "West Side Story."
Rydell will be joined during his resort shows by the Michael Natale Orchestra.
